Due to wet fields and additional rain expected the North Andrew softball tournament scheduled for Saturday has been cancelled.

North Andrew will be on Consolidated Routes for the time being until a permanent driver can be found.

Please see a message from Mark Alexander Location Manager for FIrst Student:

"Due to the driver shortage, we are experiencing, unfortunately we have to condense down to three routes. One of your drivers resigned immediately today. We are also experiencing a tremendous driver shortage throughout our area, including St. Joseph. In St. Joe, we are currently down 17 drivers, not including the ones who call in. It's not just our area either. The shortage is nationwide. Some reports state that 88% of school districts are dealing with driver shortages.

We are boosting our advertising and have brought in individuals to assist new applicants through the onboarding process to help expedite getting drivers onboarded and moved into training."

I apologize for the inconvenience. We appreciate your partnership and hopefully get this taken care of soon.
