  Course: Current Events
  Teacher: Tim Roush

     This class is designed to introduce students to Current Events and general knowledge of U.S. and world issues and how they impact history and development. Students will develop skills for research, debate, Perspective and objectivity, and reading maps and charts. Various resources will be used to expose the students to many perspectives of our modern world. Students will also be required to use this information in projects to demonstrate knowledge, and comprehension. An emphasis will be placed on civics, economics, geography and sociology as it pertains to U.S. culture.


  Course: American History
  Teacher: Tim Roush

     This class will promote the general knowledge of American History and culture from the Reconstruction period to World War II. The class will explore the military, social, economic, and political factors that led to our present day society. The student will also develop research skills and the ability to recognize and use a variety of charts, and relate how this information will be valuable on a day to day basis


  Course: American History II
  Teacher: Tim Roush and Michael Seufert

     This class is designed to introduce students to the events, people and conditions of the post World War era.  Students will focus on the aftermath of the war, the Cold War, and the computer/information age.  Students will develop skills for research, perspective and objectivity, and reading maps and charts while using available technology to present this information.  Various on-line and traditional sources will be used to expose students to these unique perspectives and events.  An emphasis will be placed on political, cultural, and scientific changes that shape our modern world.


  Course: European History
  Teacher: Tim Roush

     This class is designed to introduce students to a variety of world cultures and histories.  Students will develop skills for research, debate, perspective and objectivity, and reading maps and charts.  Various resources will be used to expose the students to many perspectives of European History.  Students will also be required to use this information in projects to demonstrate knowledge, comprehension, and synthesis.

The student will also develop research skills and the ability to recognize and use a variety of charts, and relate how this information will be valuable on the day-to-day basis.
