ACT Practice Tests: Available at www.testprepreview.com/ and www.actstudent.org
Parents/Seniors: Vocational Rehabilitation applications are in Mr. Jackson's office. This is a great service for students that have a disability to receive money for college or help finding a job. Some disabilities that would fall under this category would be sports injuries, asthma or even allergies. Please see Mr. Jackson ASAP if you are interested or if you have any questions regarding this service.
Seniors: Go to www.fastweb.com and register with them for free and gain access to over 1.3 million scholarships.
Seniors: I have a financial aid magazine in my office. If you are interested in looking at it or ordering a copy of it, please see me ASAP!

UPCOMING EVENTS:
North Andrew will be providing ACT Workshops available for North Andrew students planning on taking the ACT during the 2011-2012 school year. Students will take a practice ACT test and then be tutored by a teacher with the questions on the test as well as understand how their composite score is obtained. Students may also earn a $25 stipend for scoring 25 or higher on the ACT if they attend the workshops and they will be reimbursed for taking the ACT if they complete the entire workshop (up to three (3) times taking the ACT tests). Students will be required to turn in $15 on the day they register and will receive $10 back when they show up for the workshop. The rest of the money will be used to provide lunch for the students. Listed below are the dates of the workshops and also the registration dates. Please contact Mr. Jackson or Mr. Nolte if you have any questions.

John T. Belcher Memorial Scholarship: Deadline is December 2nd to Mr. Jackson. This is a Missouri school board scholarship and one applicant from North Andrew will be sent to the state level, so it is very important for Seniors to apply. Do not submit application online, click on the PDF application, type it, save one for your records, and print it off for Mr. Jackson. Make sure you complete the essay as well.
